Sarah and Adam – “Rainy” Stoney Creek

It seems like this spring has brought rain for a lot of my engagement sessions. Adam and Sarah picked Stoney Creek Metropark as their destination. It started out somewhat overcast on a beautiful spring walk back into the forest. What a great place to take engagement photos in the spring, before the leaves are fully blocking the sunlight. We visited some of their favorite spots and headed back to the parking lot to move our destination to the beach area at the park. Then the rain started, first just a nice spring shower, then a full blown downpour. We never really got to fully finish our session, but we were able to do some fun pictures at the pavilion. In a couple of the pictures, you will see a grey scarf that Adam knitted for Sarah for their first Christmas and a belt buckle Sarah made for Adam. I thought that was a cool way to tie their relationship together. Looking forward to a nice summer, non-rainy, wedding for Adam and Sarah.
