About Me

My love of photography started at the age of 12. Since then I’ve honed my craft for nearly 30 years. Educational training in photography came from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit and spending time in workshops across the country. I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Concordia College in Ann Arbor, Michigan which helps with the business aspects of photography.
I have spent the last several years concentrating on wedding photography, as well as sports photography. My images have been featured in several national magazines, newspapers and websites, as well as many local newspapers. The photojournalism aspect of photography helps me see a wedding thru a different eye. Although a wedding isn’t always fast moving action, it is an event that is always changing and I want to help the bride and groom remember that day and all of the aspects of the wedding.
A wedding is a celebration of love and I am intent on covering the entire day and will make sure the memories of the day are beautifully recorded for enjoyment over the years. My photojournalistic style allows me to capture the sense of beauty and spontaneity found on the wedding day.
When I am not shooting a wedding, event, or game, I’m at home with my wife Tracy and six children in Sterling Heights, Michigan. I also enjoy refurbishing antique tube radios and traveling both the country and world.
