We fought the probability of rain most of the day, but Becca and Michael didn’t let it stop them from an amazingly beautiful wedding. Michael, who is in the US Coast Guard, helped to organize the nautical themed wedding. Becca and her bridesmaids looked wonderful and other than the outdoor ceremony being moved in, the day went off without a hitch.
Best Wishes, Becca and Michael!
Kaitlyn and Lance were last seen in this blog in the fall, when they were planning their big day. It finally came and what a great time was had by their whole family. Daughters Kelsey and London were also happy participants.
Pre wedding photos took place at Kaitlyn’s grandparents home in a great wooded and garden setting and then it was off to Laurel Manor for the ceremony and reception.
Congratulations Kaitlyn and Lance.
Jessica and Nick’s big day arrived and although it was April 1, there was no joking about what was about to happen. They both were so excited for the moment the officiant pronounced them man and wife.
For those of us who live in Michigan, we all know too well how April can be a mixture of many seasons. The first day of April 2016 gave us a nearly perfect weather day for Jessica and Nick’s celebration. The chapel at Inn at St. John’s for the wedding and the Atrium for the extra beautiful reception. Thanks to some help from Laura Davis & Co. with the overall coordination and help planning the day.
Best wishes for a wonderful life together Jessica and Nick.
Kaitlyn and Lance wanted a fall beauty engagement session. Although the trees haven’t completely turned, we still had some nice backgrounds. They also wanted to include their two daughters in the photos, which was a bunch of fun too. The Bloomfield Hills Nature Center provided a great background for the afternoon with this happy couple/family. Stay tuned for a early summer 2016 wedding.
Becca is from Traverse City and Mike was stationed in Traverse City with the Coast Guard when they met. The rest is history. Although their wedding is going to be in the Detroit area, they wanted to make sure they had some photos of the area of the state that is so dear to them. Old Mission Peninsula’s lighthouse and wineries and orchards and downtown Traverse City played as backdrops for the photos. What a beautiful afternoon.
