Aaron and Mary – Birmingham / Bloomfield Engagement Session

Aaron and Mary weren’t real picky about where they had their engagement session photos taken, but they did want a few taken at an overpass in Birmingham that they would spend time watching trains.  So that’s exactly where we started.  Then it was off to Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills for some photos around the grounds there.  Although many of the leaves have now gone from the trees, we were still able to get some of the feelings of Michigan’s fall.  Enjoy!

Erica and Kyle – Engagement Session Cranbrook Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

Erica and Kyle are tying the knot in September, but wanted to get their engagement images done this spring.  Unbelievably, an engagement session in March this year looks like April or May most years.  With the awesome Michigan weather this last week the trees have started blooming and gave us some great backgrounds.  Cranbrook is always a fun place to shoot with a diverse selection of architecture.  Watch for Erica and Kyle’s wedding photos later this year.

Ms. Courtney – Salem High School Senior Rep

Courtney came it us a few months ago for her high school senior photos. This is our second session we’ve completed with her and we got some really nice and fun images. Courtney is a dancer and wanted some studio shots to showcase that part of her life, we then headed over to Cranbrook and had perfect light for some outdoor shots. If you go to Plymouth Salem High School, get in touch with Courtney for some money saving deals. If you want to set up your senior session, we can definitely get you in before or after school starts. We handle everything…yearbook photo, getting image to yearbook staff and some unique and imaginative lifestyle photos. Call us today 248-561-6873.

Molly and Ron – Cranbrook Engagement Session

Molly and Ron decided Cranbrook, in Bloomfield Hills, would be a great setting for their engagement session. I ended up taking them to some different areas than I normally go to, and we ended up with some fun and unique photos. We even got some photos on a rusty sculpture…just for Molly’s mom (you’ll have to ask Molly about that one)! Molly and Ron’s wedding is coming up in early Sept. and I look forward to their big day.

Tresa and Ron – Enjoying the Summer in Michigan

Tresa and Ron picked the perfect weekend for their engagement session. Although it was a little warm and humid, at least we had a beautiful evening to wander the grounds of Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. One of my favorite spots to photograph pretty much any person or couple. Tresa had been a member of the Cranbrook Art Museum a few years ago, but didn’t know all of the hidden treasures existed on the grounds. Tresa and Ron have a beautiful August wedding planned and I look forward to photographing it. Enjoy

Carmen and Walter – Mid-Winter Engagement Session

I think we’ve tried a couple of times to schedule Carmen and Walter’s engagement session, but Michigan weather has a way of changing things. So, finally we got a beautiful Michigan winter day on Sunday and were able to get the images done. A light snowfall on Saturday night made for a nice backdrop at Cranbrook. Carmen was a trooper when it came to shedding her coat to have, “less winter looking photos”. It will be much nicer at Bay Harbor on Aug. 13 this year. I look forward to celebrating with them.

Fran and Alex – Engagement Session

I just met Fran and Alex about a week ago. With fall slipping away here in Michigan, we decided we needed to get an e-session in soon. Cranbrook is truly a beautiful to take a walk on a fall afternoon to just relax, or to enjoy the day, or to take some wonderful pictures. Fran and Alex hadn’t been to Cranbrook in years and had never experienced the part of Cranbrook we walked thru. We had a lot of fun laughing and getting to know each other. Their wedding is next May 28 and I can’t wait to see what a beautiful day that will be.

Kayla – Senior Photos

Kayla’s senior session started off in our studio with some awesome shots and then we headed to Cranbrook, where although it wasn’t sunny, we got some equally wonderful images. All of Kayla’s Chippewa Valley friends need to call today to make an appointment before it’s time to head back to class

Kimberly & Howard Explore Cranbrook

I’ve done the dogs during the wedding day, but now I’ve officially done a dog at an e-session. Bella was the star for the first 15 minutes and then we entered Cranbrook thru a different entrance. Well I found a whole other area that is great to do pictures. Kim and Howard seemed to have fun exploring Cranbrook with me while I was shooting some really nice personal moments for them. Check back in a couple of weeks to see their really unique wedding and venue that is coming up on Aug. 1.
