Danielle and Andy had their wedding day based around the grounds of the Henry Ford and Greenfield Village. We had some fun with the guys at the Henry Ford, shooting a lot of photos that resembled an 80s album cover session. I think all of the guys and the photographers had fun. We then went to hang with the girls and shot a session around the grounds of the Dearborn Inn, including at the Edgar Allen Poe house, which is special to Danielle since she is an English teacher.
It was then off to the wedding at the Martha-Mary Chapel at Greenfield Village. The late afternoon light coming thru the windows made for a beautiful setting. Before the reception at Greenfield Village’s Eagle Tavern, we toured the grounds of the village on a early American, horse drawn bus. A great time was had at the Eagle Tavern as the guests enjoyed themselves and danced the night away. Best wishes Danielle and Andy.
Dann and Donna have been planning their day for a lot of months and it turned out just as they hoped. Perfect weather, a handsome couple and great venues. Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church provided their ceremony backdrop. The church is definitely one of my favorites to shoot in because of all of the beauty and natural light. After we headed to the Detroit Riverwalk area and some fun on the carosuel and Milliken State Park. We then headed to the Detroit Institute of Arts for some fun shots on the lawn. It was then off to Dearborn Inn for a few shots before the reception. What a perfect day was had by all in attendance. Congratulations to the newlyweds.
Manju and Hemali celebrated their wedding over the weekend. We started with the Sangeet on Friday evening at the Dearborn Inn. What wonderful entertainment the family and friends provided to the couple. All the way from the youngest nieces and nephews all the way to the parent, aunts and uncles of the bride and groom. Early Saturday morning started with the barrat for Manju and then on to the beautiful ceremony. We spent a couple hours in the afternoon doing some fun shots away from the Dearborn Inn. Luckily we had a limo for the bride and groom to duck into and cool off from the 95°+ and super high humidity. Then on to the beautiful reception planned by Iris Bloom with DJ/MC Robby (Rockstar Digital). Manju and Hemali are off to a truly memorable honeymoon and then a new life in Manhattan. We look forward to seeing the film by Capturing Arts.
Best Wishes to Manju and Hemali!
