Dax and Alexa – Detroit Institute of Arts Wedding
Mia and Will – Detroit Engagement Session
Mia and Will were looking for an engagement session that showed their class and style, almost fashion magazine-like. We started our session at the Detroit Institute of Arts shooting both indoors and outdoors. I love the clean lines and backgrounds at the DIA. We then headed to the old Michigan Central Station in Detroit to wrap the session up. Stay tuned for Mia and Will’s wedding in 2013.
Rene’ and Ryan – One to Remember
This is one of those weddings I’ve been anticipating for quite a few months. Rene’ has been in contact with me throughout the planning period, asking lots of questions and coming up with lots of really cool additions to her day. Rene’ and Ryan took advantage of one of our cool signature mats for all of their guests to sign at the reception, as well as a slideshow to be shown at the reception.
Rene’ and Ryan started their days at the salon and barber shop and then continued to Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Detroit. What an amazing old church/cathedral. We then traveled to the downtown Detroit area and hit the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA), Comerica Park…complete with a Tigers game going on, the Compuware atrium and finally the Detroit Riverwalk and Ren Cen. We were able to get some awesome shots that will be truly memorable for them.
The reception was at Palazzo Grande in Shelby Township and was a reception that none of the guests will forget.
Rene’ and Ryan, enjoy your lives together.
