Josh, Ashley and their daughter Sophie have been waiting for this day for a long time. We last saw Josh and Ashley almost exactly a year ago for their engagement session. Now they are finally married and ready to start the next segment of their lives.
The day started at Shepherd’s Gate Church in Shelby Township. A beautiful ceremony for the beautiful bride and handsome groom. The weather decided to cooperate with us for some photos at Heritage Gardens also in Shelby Township. A quick stop for photos at Hamlin Pub was the last destination before the reception.
The evening festivities commenced at Palazzo Grande, also in Shelby Township. A great meal, a beautiful setting and dancing helped celebrate Josh and Ashley’s (and Sophie’s) big day. Congratulations!
Megan and Keith met when teaching math at the same high school. September 2, they tied the knot and decided that 9+2=11 (the date of their wedding) and will live happily ever after. What a fun couple and bridal party. I don’t think I’ve ever met a cooler bride and groom on their wedding day, nothing was going to phase either one of them, and that was the case. Megan and Keith chose a “first look” alone, at Shelby Township Heritage Park, to start the days festivities. The bridal party then traveled to Troy Historical Village for some fun photos in the historic school and around the grounds. Then it was on to the ceremony at Stoney Creek Metroark and a beautiful setting next to the lake, for the most important part of the day. We then finished off the fun at Palazzo Grande in Shelby Township for the night of celebration and partying. What a beautiful day and a handsome couple.
This is one of those weddings I’ve been anticipating for quite a few months. Rene’ has been in contact with me throughout the planning period, asking lots of questions and coming up with lots of really cool additions to her day. Rene’ and Ryan took advantage of one of our cool signature mats for all of their guests to sign at the reception, as well as a slideshow to be shown at the reception.
Rene’ and Ryan started their days at the salon and barber shop and then continued to Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Detroit. What an amazing old church/cathedral. We then traveled to the downtown Detroit area and hit the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA), Comerica Park…complete with a Tigers game going on, the Compuware atrium and finally the Detroit Riverwalk and Ren Cen. We were able to get some awesome shots that will be truly memorable for them.
The reception was at Palazzo Grande in Shelby Township and was a reception that none of the guests will forget.
Rene’ and Ryan, enjoy your lives together.
