Jenny and Robert are both young physicians and so getting a few minutes with them together was hard. We had a perfect evening in Birmingham, Michigan’s Quarton Lake Park.
It was great hanging out with them for an hour or so and learning a little more about them and their upcoming July wedding. Enjoy!
Whitney and Brian are such a fun couple and you feel how much they enjoy spending time together. We had a perfect fall evening on the shores of Quarton Lake in Birmingham. Although the fall colors are still a little spotty, you still feel the warmth of the autumn light as the days get shorter. Enjoy the photos and stay tuned for a beautiful wedding in July 2015.
Dan and Teegan came to me many months ago and told me about their plans for a unique wedding in Royal Oak. A park wedding and the reception at Royal Oak Farmers Market. Something totally different and fun sounding, I was glad when they booked me. Their day did not disappoint. A beautiful ceremony at Barton Park in Royal Oak and the reception at the made over (by Teegan and Dan’s families and friends) Royal Oak Farmers Market.
We made a quick trip to Quarton Lake in Birmingham for some fun and beautiful photos with the wedding party. I love when wedding parties are open to fun and slightly quirky photos. The bridesmaids were the members wanting to climb trees, not the guys.
Best wishes for a long life together, Teegan and Dan.
Last time we saw Rob and Shannon, it was spring and trees were budding…Saturday was the perfect fall day with the trees near their peak of color. Rob and Shannon exchanged their vows after 9 years of courtship. With the wedding taking place at Academy of Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills and the reception at San Marino Club in Troy, we had plenty of opportunities for some great photo opportunities. Between the wedding and reception we made a quick stop at Quarton Lake in Birmingham for some late afternoon photos. A great time was had by their friends and family at the reception. Best wishes for a wonderful life.
Andrea and Ryan are busy medical residents and so time is valuable. You will get to see them twice in a week, once for their engagement session and again for their wedding that is Saturday. Last night we wandered the shores of Quarton Lake, in Birmingham, and got some fun early fall photos. Andrea and Ryan brought their dog with them who had more fun chasing squirrels, but posed for some photos before grandpa took him home. The rest of the evening was spent along the shore and capturing some great “golden hour” photos. Stay tuned for wedding photos early next week.
We last saw Beth and Jim in Chicago, where they live, for their engagement session. Yesterday was their wedding day, back home for Beth in Birmingham. Beth and her father traveled to the wedding via 1961 Rolls Royce, courtesy of a friend of the family. What a delight that was to see cruising the streets of Birmingham. Holy Name Catholic Church was the setting for the wedding and then it was off to Quarton Lake for some family photos and then to Oakland Hills Country Club for the reception. We were able to take the couple out on the course for some scenic shots before the evenings party got started. What a perfect day for a wedding and the start of Beth and Jim’s life together. Best wishes!
